PHOTOGRAPHY OF THE EVENT
Full dress rehearsals are often the ideal time to do the photography, providing that all aspects of the performance are complete, ie costumes, props, backdrops, stage lighting, hair and makeup.
The absence of an audience enables the photographer to move locations during the performance, to optimise the photographs, without concerns of disrupting an audience.
For Speech and Presentation events some flash photography is recommended to remove the extreme colours that often result from stage lights. However these events generally have sufficient light levels to photograph without flash if this is preferred.
Theatrical and Dance Productions are generally full of extreme and varied lighting. This is often part of the magic of the performance and resulting images. In these instances no flash is used, unless specifically requested by the client.
In a number of cases, it is appropriate to photograph the actual performance. This often necessitates that the photographer been given an allocated position within the theatre for the duration of the performance such that the photography can be done with little to no disruption to the audience. In these instances, you will need to discuss the most suitable location, for the camera within the theatre, with the photographer. If seated in the audience it will almost always involve having the seat either side of the photographer vacant and seats in the row in front being empty to ensure head clearance. Lens range and light levels means that there is generally an optimum distance and height for the photographer to be placed at in relation to the stage. Ensuring a view of all areas of the stage and visual clearance of audience heads is also critical.

Myworks is now a fully digital photography service.
Where an album of pictures is required from an event. High quality professional processing is used to provide a quality set of prints.
If it's files that you need, perhaps for a school or work publication then these are provided as colour corrected, high resolution, quality files.
Costs are based on time, travel and any photo printing costs.
IMAGE VIEWING AND SALES
Clients may wish the photos from an event to be available for people to view and purchase. The cost of this viewing and sales service is covered by the sales income. In some instances, with very large events, there is a high volume of prints orders. In such instances some or all of the cost of preparing the images files for the school may be covered by the sale of the images.

Myworks is delighted to be able to provide web viewing and sales service to clients.
Images from events photographed can be made available for viewing and sales via this website.
These are located in a restricted access gallery that can only be viewed after the insertion of a PIN code. Each job is given it's own unique PIN such that clients are taken directly to the photos from that particular job and no other.
Clients can view, order and pay for their images on line 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. These orders are delivered directly to the person, who placed the order, via express post, or to a distribution person or school depending on the option selected.
This service is ideal for schools wishing to give parents the opportunity to view and purchase photos of their children performing in a concert.
WORKING WITH CHILDREN CHECK AND PUBLIC LIABILITY
Bronwen holds a current Working With Children check. This card can be viewed by clients upon request. She also has Public Liability Insurance for any accidents associated with her photography. It has not been needed to date :)
